Restaurant Week in Charlotte North Carolina is Back
Charlotte Restaurant Week is back after being shut down last year because of the pandemic. Restaurant Week is set to return July 16-25 and will have more than 40 participating restaurants in the Charlotte metro area. Participants will offer three-course dinners priced at $30 or $35 per person.
First-time participants include The Wine Loft South End, Golden Owl Tavern in the University area and Red Salt by David Burke in uptown Charlotte. Want more things to do, check out 5 more things going on in Charlotte, North Carolina, below.
Charlotte Motor Speedway Summer Drive-in series continues with the showing of The Peanuts Movie on July 21st and with the showing of The Greatest Snowman on August 11th. The cost is $30 per vehicle for up to 10 people. Gates open at 5 p.m. each night with movies scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
One Africa Fest will be happening on Saturday July 17th at St. Andrew’s United Methodist located at 1901 Archdale Drive from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. One Africa Fest aims to increase the visibility of the global impact of African culture through dance, music, food, fashion, arts, and food. It serves as an important opportunity for organizations working within African- America, Afro-Caribbean, and Afro-Latino communities to raise social awareness and highlight the work.
The 2021 Queen City Summer Festival will be taking place at Fran’s Kids Boys & Girls Center on Saturday July 17th from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Fran’s Kids Boys & Girls Center is located at 2600 W Trade St. This event will feature over 50 vendors with the latest products, brands, giveaways and more. There will be food, bounce house, kid activities, face painting, raffles, entertainment and more! Dance performances from some of the best dance teams the Queen City has to offer will keep you very entertained. This is a family friendly free event!
The Peach Truck Tour will make an appearance at the Charlotte Open Air Market on Friday July 16th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The market is located at 5701 Central Avenue in East Charlotte.
