Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 14th marks National Macaroni and Cheese Day! And Kraft is teaming up with ice cream brand Van Leeuwen to celebrate!
The pair of brands have come together to create a sweet and savory mac and cheese-flavored ice cream…Yeah, you read that right. This ice cream is mac and cheese flavored! Disgusting or delicious?
The Senior Associate Brand Manager for Kraft Emily Violett said, “We know that there is nothing more refreshing on a hot summer day than ice cream. That is why we wanted to combine two of the most iconic comfort foods to create an ice cream with the unforgettable flavor of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese we all grew up with.”
If you want your shot to try this limited-edition ice cream, you can try to get it online on Van Leeuwen’s websites on July 14 at 11 a.m., as well as in the brand’s stores across the country. A pint will be $12.
Personally, I don’t think I’d want to try it. I prefer my ice cream to be chocolate based and I feel like the mac and cheese flavor is quite the opposite.
Would you try this mac and cheese-flavored ice cream? What is the weirdest flavor of ice cream you could imagine?
