I don’t know about you, but I personally have STAYED being in comfy clothes as part of my “pandemic wardrobes”. Everyone kind of made it a joke about just how much the pandemic changed how we present ourselves. I mean, if I really wanted to, I could have presented my senior honors thesis with no pants on. LOL.
But, now that restrictions are lightening up, people are going back to the office and that means no more sweatpants and no more pantsless presentations.
The secondhand clothing business is booming as people are purging their ‘pandemic wardrobes’. After a year of bumming around the house in sweatpants and t-shirts, people are cleaning out their closets as life returns to normal. Some folks might have also have grown or slimmed down, so they can’t fit into their old clothes.
Overall, secondhand clothing sales are on pace to double by the year 2025 as more people ‘de-clutter’ their closets. Soooo who wants to make a Goodwill run with me?
Is your closet undergoing a ‘pandemic purge’? What do you do with your old clothes?
