One of the most annoying thing about buying hot dogs to cook at home is the fact that the amount of hot dogs you can buy in a package, and the amount of buns you can buy in a package NEVER add up. Usually hot dogs come in packs of 10, while buns come in bags of 8. This means you'll either have way too many buns if you buy two bags, or you'll be two short... Either way, it's not ideal.
Today, Heinz just announced their new Heinz Hot Dog Pact, which is a petition that calls for "big bun and big wieners companies to finally sells buns and wieners in even packs"
Is this petition ridiculous? Yes! But you can bet that I already signed it. I'm all about efficiency and reducing waste!
