Olivia Rodrigo reveals on social media that she never got to experience prom, so she wanted to throw "a little prom party" with her favorite people -- her fans.

"SOUR prom the concert film comes out Tuesday!!!!" Rodrigo wrote alongside a photo on her Instagram showing her wearing a tiara, holding a bouquet of flowers, a pink beaded dress and her makeup ruined with tears streaming down her face. The next image has the 18-year-old holding up a prom-posal looking sign that read: "PROM would be brutal without U."

The film debuts this upcoming Tuesday (June 29) 11:30 p.m. EST on YouTube.

Rodrigo surprised some lucky fans with a personal invitation to her YouTube event. Wearing an all black outfit and braided pigtails, the "good 4 u" singer greeted fans with flowers and held up the same sign from her promo photos that read: "PROM would be brutal without U."

Fans on Twitter are excited for the concert film:

The teenage star is known for her roles on Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series as Nini Salazar-Roberts. She recently admitted that becoming a global star amid a pandemic was a "blessing in disguise," Daily Mail reports.

She further explained that it helped her keep her sanity when there was "so much drama going on. Being in isolation with people I loved and cared about kept me out of the hullabaloo."
