This is probably one of the best memes I’ve seen in a while. Probably since the giant Josh fight that erupted in Nebraska when little Josh won the pool noodle fight tournament-style. And this time, it involves Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.
Jeff Bezos will be traveling to space in an upcoming launch on July 20th.
A new petition on Change.org has popped up calling for Bezos to be denied re-entry to Earth. Essentially, the goal is to keep Jeff Bezos in space indefinitely…which is why this is one of the biggest and stupidest memes I’ve seen in a while.
Yes, this petition is actually real, but I doubt it’s serious because of how funny the whole concept is. And it gets funnier…
According to the Change.org page created by Jose Ortiz, “Jeff Bezos is actually Lex Luthor, disguised as the supposed owner of a super successful online retail store. However, he’s actually an evil overlord hellbent on global domination. We’ve known this for years. Jeff has worked with the Epsteins and the Knights Templar, as well as the Free Masons to gain control over the whole world. He’s also in bed with the flat earth deniers; it’s the only way they’ll allow him to leave the atmosphere. Meanwhile our government stands by and lets it happen.”
Then, the petition’s blurb ends with this: “This may be our last chance before they enable the 5G microchips and perform a mass takeover.”
So far, over 12,000 people have signed as of 10:30am on June 17th, 2021. But, I have a feeling this petition is only going to grow in popularity as an internet sensation.
