Today on the show we talked about one of my friends who got a 10/10 lobster roll from a gas station in Portland, Maine. This sparked the conversation of top-tier food coming from convenience stores. Here are some of the text messages we got:

  • 282 says “A gas station on the outer banks where I grew up, it’s called biscuits and porn first of all. Best breakfast sandwiches there.”
  • 704 says “QT breakfast pizza. It’s almost better than breakfast casserole”
  • 704 says “Shop N Save in Mooresville! They have a meat market inside with fresh produce as well. They have smoothies, hot dogs, etc.”
  • 828 says “Sheetz has the best food”
  • 980 says “On our way home from FL we stopped at a Buc-ee’s in NC and they had a carving station, prime rib sandwiches. Delish!!”
  • 704 says “Our Shell here in Albemarle has the BEST friend chicken. Better than any chicken place around.”
  • 704 says “There is a marina on high rock lake where you can get a great ribeye!”
  • 980 says “Clemmers gas station in Gastonia has the BEST hot wings and sub sandwiches.”
  • 980 says “No cap, QTs chicken bacon ranch grilled cheese is a top tier food I’ve ever had.”
  • 704 says “Danny’s in downtown Concord! Been stopping in there for hot dogs, wings and pizza since I was 12!”
