A gun safety group says road rage shootings have killed or injured one person every 18 hours since the start of the year.
Everytown for Gun Safety analyzed data and found that road rage incidents involving firearms have been rising since 2018. The group says one-third of road rage shootings from 2016 to 2019 ended in death for injury.
Deaths and injuries rose to 50-percent of road rage shootings from 2020 through this year. That’s led to a monthly average of 42 deaths over the past 12 months.
