2 North Carolina Lake Towns Make Top 10 List for ‘Best Lake Towns’ In The Country

Being born and raised in North Carolina, one of my favorite things about this state is what it has to offer when it comes to beaches, lakes, and mountains. A lot of people have dreams of living at the beach, but I spent a lot of my childhood growing up on Lake Gaston where my dad lived, so I have always dreamed of living at the lake. In fact, when I moved to Charlotte and explored Lake Norman, I was obsessed. And so was Stacker.com, because Davidson made the list!

Davidson, North Carolina came in at #9 on the list while Cornelius, North Carolina came in at #5. Both towns spill into Lake Norman.

The entire study is a list of 46 lake towns, and a third North Carolina city made the Top 46 list. Hope Mills, North Carolina came in at #44.
