The past 10 days have been big for Greg Olsen and his family. Not only did they realize that their eight-year-old son might have to get a heart transplant, but he actually did go on the transplant list, and then got a match just eight days later.

TJ, Greg Olsen’s eight-year-old son, was born with congenital heart disease.

Over the weekend, TJ got his transplant at Levine Children’s Hospital successfully. The retired NFL player updated the community on social media saying that over the weekend he was able to have his chest closed after surgery and is hopeful that he would start to wake up soon.

You got this TJ! We’re rooting for you.
