A man named Christopher Nolan (not the Dark Knight director) says he found the bottle floating in his mother's canal. He picked it up thinking it was trash with the intent to throw it away.

Instead he discovered that the bottle contained a handwritten note from someone named Zack Williams. Williams claims to have dropped the bottle in the ocean at Myrtle Beach on May 16, 1987. Now Nolan is trying to track down Williams - who writes in the letter "Dear person who finds this I want you to try to return it to me". This quest should be a lot easier now with social media than it would have been in the 80s. I can only imagine how shocked Williams will be if and when Nolan gets in contact with him.
