A Winston-Salem, NC woman has been arrested after being found in possession of two kilograms of fentanyl according to the Durham County Sheriff's office. Karen Garcia Euceda was pulled over in Durham on Tuesday with her 4-year old daughter in the car. The child is now with another family member. After searching her vehicle the fentanyl was found.

Just how much fentanyl is two kilograms? Well, one kilogram of fentanyl is enough to kill up to 500,000 according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. That means she was in possession of enough fentanyl to kill 1 million people. That's a terrifying thought. Fentanyl is a  prescription drug that is a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than morphine. Fentanyl is also made and sold illegally.

Opioids are the main cause of drug overdose deaths in the US.
