Tropical Bar Coming To Plaza Midwood And It Will Have Dole Whip

There are few things I love more than a great fruity cocktail with the sound of the ocean in the background. While we may still be waiting on the ocean in Charlotte, those Instagram-worthy resort-style cocktails are closer than you think. That's right Charlotte is getting their very own tropical bar. The team behind Stroke, the indoor mini-golf bar, just launched this new project. The bar called "The Royal Tot" is scheduled to open sometime this summer.

The Royal Tot will be located off Louise Avenue in Plaza Midwood, near Catawba Brewing. The tropical bar's menu will include frozen rum-based cocktails, "tiki drinks", and the Disney fan-favorite "Dole-Whip". If you've never had a Dole Whip it is a soft-serve pineapple ice cream snack that has its own fandom. So this news is bound to make a lot of people very happy! The Royal Tot will have a rooftop deck, patio, indoor bar, and event space.
