Heard of a little show on Netflix called “Bridgerton?” It’s become a fan favorite and it could have caused a baby boom of its own, at least for one couple. Brian Fichera, husband of “Today” show meteorologist Dylan Dryer, recently shared the news that they’re expecting again and that “Bridgerton” may have had something to do with it.
While the mom of two boys first made the announcement that they’re having another boy on her show last week, Fichera took to Instagram to make his. He posted a photo of him holding their sons, four-year-old Calvin and one-year-old Oliver, as well as the ultrasound image of the new baby and gave some credit to the Netflix hit in the caption. He writes, “You see cal when two people are quarantined together for over a year and @bridgertonnetflix is on …”
But the dad didn’t stop with that cheeky post. Fichera followed it up with another post that would make any Regency-era lady blush. “For the ‘gram after dark crowd,” the caption reads for the photo of him holding up a cookie cake with another reference to “Bridgerton.” The cake reads: “How does a lady come to be with child? If her man doesn’t have a pull out game like Duke Hastings.” Racy? Definitely! And also worthy of Lady Whistledown’s gossip column.
