Iceland’s erupting volcano is for sale.
The small volcano has been erupting south of Reykjavik since March, spewing lava and attracting thousands of tourists. The volcano is on private land owned by a landowners association, and the group says they’ve received offers from realtors and other interested parties.
The head of the association said it was the “hottest” property in the country right now. The group is reportedly considering sprucing up the site with improved trails, parking spaces, and a new road to the volcano.
About 75-thousand people have visited the site since March.
