When you vote for your favorite political candidate you kind of expect some benefits to making your life better. More than twenty states will increase their minimum wages for workers.
There are 25 states raising their minimum wage this year and those states are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington. The goal is to keep folks employed with a decent living wage after the job loss devastation jumpstarting in 2019.
