You know, after working at a PetSmart for over five years, there are just certain things you come to expect in a pet store or a home improvement store. There were several times during my time at PetSmart where a reptile got lose and I’ve heard the horror stories of customers finding escaped snakes in the dog toy isle.

What I wouldn’t expect…seeing a snake slithering down the baked beans isle in a Target.

This happened in Apex, North Carolina which is right outside of Raleigh.

The customer found a slithering surprise while reaching for some baked beans.
