There’s no denying that the past year has been tough for numerous types of industries, but one taking a significant hit would be the restaurant and bar industry. Back in March 2020, I was living with a bartender at the time when North Carolina shut down in-person operations of bars and restaurants. This meant layoffs, less opportunities and more unemployment.
Sam Diminich was one of those affected people and he wants to do something about it.
He started “Your Farms, Your Table” where you can select the number of meals you’d like and when you’d like it delivered and bam…he delivers it to your door as long as your delivery radius is within the I-485 loop. Each three-course meal is $30 (plus tax and tip). He (or a member of his staff) will then bring your meal to your doorstep and will explain what’s on the menu and the farms that the ingredients came from.
