Some women have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on their wedding dress, but with the pandemic throwing most weddings for a loop it seems a bunch of gals have been embracing a much, MUCH cheaper gown.

According to a new report, brides are raving about a lacy form-fitting wedding dress from Lalagen, which sells on Amazon for just $43. The Lalagen Wedding Dress has 4,810 reviews, with 75% of them a five-star rating. Brides praise the dress for its stretchy fabric and flattering off-the-shoulder neckline. The designer says they are able to keep the costs down since they sell them directly to the consumers, plus they offer it in five sizes, and brides can get it quickly with Prime shipping.

"They don’t have to cut as many sizes because the fabric has some stretch to it," Valerie Cooper, chief executive of apparel production firm Heart-Hunters Consulting, said of the sizing. Also since there’s no "boning" and "corseting," it’s flattering to more sizes.

One bride, who claimed she bought three expensive dresses for her big wedding before it was canceled, purchased the Lalagen dress for her reception, and simply adores it. She writes that she's “seriously considering this as my main ceremony dress because I loved it that much.” She adds, "This was my dream dress, and I still can’t believe my dream dress was less than $40. Would recommend to anyone, whether on a budget or not."
