Who doesn’t love ice cream?
Now don’t get me wrong, I love ice cream all year long, but now that temperatures are getting warmer, I’m starting to crave ice cream more and more.
National Ice Cream Day is July 19th, and last year, YouGov took a survey of about 20,000 Americans to see what their favorite ice cream flavor is. This is what they found:
America’s Most Popular Ice Cream Flavors:
- Chocolate – 17%
- Vanilla – 15%
- Strawberry – 8%
- Mint Chocolate Chip – 8%
- Butter Pecan – 8%
- Other – 8%
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough – 6%
- Cookies n’ Cream – 6%
- Rocky Road – 4%
- Coffee – 4%
My personal favorite is chocolate, so I’m not too surprised to see it at the top. I am surprised that butter pecan came in at 5th place though, and that cookies n’ cream wasn’t higher.
