Pizza Hut is switching gears with a redesign of thousands of their restaurants so that their customers can get their pizza fix easier and safer with the announcement of a “Hut Lane.” What is it? A pick-up window that’s dedicated to digital orders. And yes, they decided to implement this after offering curbside contactless pickup last year during the pandemic.
Just place your order on PizzaHut.com or the Pizza Hut app and you can pull up to the window and grab your order from the driver’s seat.
Pizza Hut is owned by Yumi Brands which also owns Taco Bell and KFC and all of their restaurants are adapting to the “new normal” which is requiring new concepts with more drive-thrus, digital ordering, and smaller footprint physical locations.
