Young Guy With Prosthetic Leg Forced To Show It Over Handicap Spot

News flash: you can’t always see a person’s disability.

An Australian TikTok user took to the site in a series of videos visibly upset at a “handicap shaming” encounter. The young man parked in a handicap spot at a McDonald’s, with a handicap card. He has a prosthetic leg, so we get it.

Then an older woman approached him while he was still in the car, railing him about parking in a handicap spot. Basically he had to get out of the car to prove his point. He pointed out “Even if someone doesn’t look old or doesn’t look disabled enough, if they have this, you shut your mouth, and you walk away.”

Now he wants McDonald’s to release the CCTV video of the incident and they won’t. There’s a campaign to make that happen.
