Have you ever been on a vacation, or making a charcuterie board for guests and thought to yourself, "what is the most popular cheese?" Well now we have the answer.
A new survey of around 9,000 Americans revealed that we're pretty simple when it comes to our cheese. The #1 most popular cheese in the country is cheddar.
Cheddar got 17% of the votes, followed by American cheese, mozzarella, Swiss, and pepper jack to round out the top 5 favorite cheeses.
Interestingly enough, Ricotta was the least popular cheese picked, with less than 1% of the vote.
So there you have it, the moral of the story is; you can't go wrong with Cheddar. Know, who's hungry?
