Mecklenburg County Public Health is working hard to ensure COVID-19 vaccines are accessible to everyone in the community as quickly as possible. Individuals who are currently homebound due to physical or mental disability and are unable to travel to a COVID-19 vaccination clinic can now request to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at their home residence by completing a request form on the County’s website.

Mecklenburg County residents meeting the eligibility criteria will receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, as supply becomes available. Each request will be reviewed by MCPH and Mecklenburg County Emergency Management and scheduled based on eligibility criteria, vaccine supply and appointment availability. For questions or assistance with submitting a request form, call the MCPH COVID-19 Hotline at 980-314-9400 (Option 3 for English and Option 8 for Spanish).
