Yes, everyone has house rules!!! Ever visited a friend or family member’s house and encountered some really strange house rules? Did you grow up in house with unreasonable rules? Do you have rules that you make all your guests follow? Not talking about simple things like leave your shoes at the door, but something really mind blowing? How about that special room that is always dusted, vacuumed and fancy, but can never be entered? Never understood the point of that. Such a waste of a great room.

Didn’t finish all your cereal? Flush it down the toilet, don’t pour it into the sink. Yuck. It never all goes down and ends up looking gross floating in the toilet. Speaking of toilets, be sure not to flush the toilet after dark. You will wake people up. Now that’s just unsanitary. Have a habit of standing in front of the fridge staring into it as if something new that you didn’t buy will suddenly appear? That is a no, no in some folks home. You do not open the fridge unless you know what you want and for no longer than a few seconds. Who know that the food would suddenly get warm and go bad that quickly.

No rival soda products. There was a household that was very loyal to Pepsi. If you brought a Coke or even a Sprite into the home you were made to pour it out. Don’t close the doors. No inside doors can be closed because the cat needs access to all areas day and night. This applies to guests as well. Nope, not staying here over night. Walls are not too be touched. Not at all. A dirty fingerprint will cause a CSI investigation into who dared touch the wall. Clean your plate. Doesn’t matter if your stomach is so full it is about to explode, the plate must be clean. That includes condiments. Ever encountered these rules? Have some crazy ones of your own? Why can’t we all just relax and get along?
