Okay. Here’s were I would typically give you a healthy recipe my Profile coach sent me and send you on your way, but today I wanted to give you an update on how I’m doing and the adjustments my coach and I are making.
As I told you all on The Maney, Roy & LauRen morning show, I have come to the end of my breast feeding journey and when I set up my Profile meal plan we had breastfeeding and my sons health in mind too, so I had a few extra calories to play with.
– Fun fact you burn an extra 500 calories a day while you are breastfeeding.
Well now that those 500 calories aren’t there (and I feel like my hormones are all over the place from my body readjusting) my goal has shifted to a more aggressive goal, of losing the baby weight and not regaining any pounds while my body figures out why the heck we aren’t feeding a baby anymore. Thus, my coach and I are having to make some adjustments to my meal plan.
That is why I love Profile and their weekly meetings (that can be in person or virtually). It gives you the opportunity to tell your coach what is going on in your life so that you can make adjustments. They don’t just make you a meal plan and send you on your way. That is how people fail, when they don’t have support and don’t adjust for life’s changes.
I will continue to update you on my progress and journey, but I hope it motivates you to do something for yourself. Give yourself a little selfceare too! Because you deserve it!
