Jim Carrey’s moving on.
The actor announced over the weekend that he was retiring from the political artwork that made such a splash when now-former President Trump was in office. Carrey told reporters back in 2018 that doing the cartoons wasn’t a choice.
Carrey said he felt compelled to do the art because he couldn’t just sit back and watch what was unfolding without having a say. The actor dubbed Trump “Orange Julius Caesar.” He says he decided to let go of his passion project now in order to “reclaim a little neurological bandwidth” and reconnect with his fans.
