Working from home has taken on a WHOLE new meaning in 2020, and now 2021.

I used to have so much envy for my friends who chose to work from home. In 2020, we were all pretty much forced to work from home, and I can now say, it's not as great as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely parts of working from home that I LOVE, but there are also parts that I hate.

Looking ahead, I feel like working from home will become the new norm for many companies who hadn't yet taken the plunge before. Think about it, you'll be saving all that money in office space... why not?

What cities are the best to work from home in though?   PCMag, a leading technology trade publication, released a report ranking the best work-from-home cities for 2021. They based the ranking off of places with affordable housing, fast gigabit, reasonably priced internet connections and remote-work-friendly lifestyles.

Here are the results:

  1. Chattanooga, Tennessee

  2. Bear Valley Springs, California

  3. Pawlet, Vermont

  4. Kaysville, Utah

  5. Jonesborough, Tennessee

  6. Petoskey, Michigan

  7. Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania

  8. Bemidji, Minnesota

  9. Springfield, Vermont

  10. Eastpointe, Michigan

There are a lot of random locations on this list, but that kind of makes sense. Why would you pay a ridiculous amount of rent in a big city, when you're staying in your home most of the time anyways right now?

Hi, I'm Cameron! I was born and raised in North Carolina. I'm a super tall redhead who is always down for tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas. Okay, so Mexican food is my personal favorite, but I’m not saying no if you’re trying to eat out on the town anywhere. I I am on air for middays but also the Program Director for Kiss 95.1.
