Business is booming for flowers on Valentine's Day.

If the CEO of 1-800-Flowers is right, gift-giving will be a big trend this year. Chris McCann predicts his company will see its biggest Valentine’s Day sales ever this year.

McCann says the reason is simple. “If there’s anything we’ve learned throughout the pandemic, it’s the need for human connection to express ourselves and life’s everyday moments. For a company whose vision is to inspire expression, connection, and celebration, we are well-positioned in front of these trends.”

Because many people won’t be going out for the holiday, flowers and chocolates seem like the obvious gifts.
