Congratulations are in order for Shonda Rhimes. “Bridgerton,” her Netflix debut, has become the streaming service’s biggest series ever!
Season one of the Regency-era romance has been seen by 82 million households worldwide. That’s 19 million more than the four-week projection Netflix issued ten days after it launched as the fifth largest in history.
“Bridgerton” has now relegated the previous record-holder – “The Witcher – to second place by six million households.
