Quick & Easy 5 Ingredient Tikka Masala Recipe!
Only a couple of months ago, I discovered my love for Indian food. I had Chicken Tikka Masala for the first time and fell in love! Over this past weekend, I really wanted it again, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money by eating at a restaurant, and also wanted to stay home to try and do my part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. SO, I downloaded the Target app (no this is not an ad haha) and no lie…one of the first things that popped up was a “quick and easy recipe” and it was for Tikka Masala! I decided to add some veggies to it and ordered it all on the Target app, and was able to just drive up and they brought it right now for me! Legit…it’s super easy.
- Cauliflower
- Frozen peas
- Tikka Masala sauce
- Grilled chicken strips (or shredded rotisserie chicken)
- Jasmine rice
That’s all you need! I got the 90 second microwavable jasmine rice. The chicken strips I got were already cooked, so what I did was put a little olive oil on a pan, put the strips on and heated them for a few minutes, added the sauce and let that simmer. The frozen peas I got were in a microwavable bag, so I microwaved those, boiled the cauliflower for a few minutes…added the veggies to the chicken and sauce and BAM! Serve that over your rice and you’ve got yourself a homemade (ish) dish!
