This unique candy is fine, in theory, but the orange flavoring is almost always too synthetic tasting and the quality of the chocolate is never quite up to par. Just eat a regular chocolate bar and save yourself the weird aftertaste.

Sugar is in everything, but you can still get it out of your diet.

Molly Carmel, author of “Breaking Up With Sugar,” has actually been successful and weaning of the addictive sweet additive. Here are her tips for walking away from sugar for good.

  • Read labels! If sugar, or one of its 61 aliases, is the fifth ingredient or later… you can eat it.
  • Empty the sugar out of your house.
  • Create a support circle to help you.

This is no easy battle and may take a long time to win.
