The Francene Marie Show

Saturday 6:00am-7:00am

So, before we say hello to 2021 and goodbye to 2020 filled with the Covid virus, tremendous job loss, strange sporting events, businesses going under, and religious services online, you must admit that 2020 forced everyone to pivot in many directions with a pound of fear and uncertainty. We said goodbye to traditions, and customs that many of us took for granted like reunions. Fashion centers around the world were shut down, while Americans exchanged Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Balenciaga bags for ugly and cute facemasks in an effort to stop the spread of a virus.

Country music legend Kenny Rogers left us. Basketball Star Kobe Bryant left us, along with the Black Panther himself Chadwick Boseman. The good news is that the year has finally come to an end. It’s ok to feel saddened about the events that took place in 2020, but let’s make a promise not to allow 2020 to become our reality in 2021. Let’s love one another, cherish and appreciate our time with friends and family, and savor every second of the upcoming year like it’s our last. Because if 2020 has shown us anything, it’s NEVER to take anything for granted. Bye bye 2020 and Hello 2021. Here’s to a new year with a new determination, a renewed mindset, and a new outlook on life. May we all have GREAT SUCCESS and more!
