What’s the most popular Christmas movie in your state? To find out, Comparitech did a deep dive into IMDB’s 50 most popular Christmas movies list. From there, they were able to whittle them down into a state-by-state breakdown using Google Trends.
- “Home Alone” – It’s big in Florida, Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, and Virginia.
- “It’s A Wonderful Life” – Only took the top spot in Maine and Wisconsin.
- “Die Hard” – Was the most popular in Alaska, Nebraska, and Washington.
- “Elf” – Won the hearts of those in Idaho.
- “The Polar Express” – It’s must-see viewing in Arizona, Missouri, and South Carolina.
- “The Santa Clause” – Loved by those in Utah and Wyoming.
- “Bad Santa” – Enjoyed by those in Nevada and Pennsylvania.
