SYDNEY, NSW – JUNE 07: A pregnant woman holds her stomach June 7, 2006 in Sydney, Australia. Australia is currently enjoying a baby boom, with the Australian Bureau of Statistics registering a 2.4% increase in births from 2004 to 2005, which represents the highest number of births since 1992. The Australian Federal Government has been encouraging people to have more babies, with financial incentives and the slogan by treasurer Peter Costello to “have one for mum, one for dad, and one for the country”. The Federal Government has identified falling fertility rates and the ageing population as long-term problems for Australia’s growth and prosperity. (Photo by Ian Waldie/Getty Images)

A mom-to-be’s pregnancy announcement went terribly wrong and turned out nothing less than cringe-worthy. The woman was probably on Pinterest, searching for creative ideas for the announcement when she spotted one of those “recipe for baby” announcements. There are lots of cute ones with that theme that have an older sibling sitting with baking utensils and a retro sign board that says something like “two cups of kisses, one cup of love, bake until April.” Adorable, right?

But instead of something sweet and family-friendly. This unnamed expecting mom got the recipe so very wrong. She made it gross by having her sign read “1 cup mommy. 3 pumps daddy. Mix with love. Bake until July.” And beyond the yuck factor, she also managed to be critical of her husband’s performance in bed.

A photo of the announcement was shared on Reddit’s “Insane people Facebook” section, but it’s now been deleted. This may not be the worst baby announcement ever, but it’s definitely not what the grandparents want to read when they open it up. Are our minds in the gutter? Sure, but it’s what anyone on the Internet who saw it was thinking, too.
