ARLINGTON, VA - DECEMBER 30: A woman drops off donated items at a Goodwill Industries of Greater Washington location December 30, 2005 in Arlington, Virginia. Charity organizations like Goodwill see a surge in donations at the end of the calendar year before the 2005 tax deduction deadline. With 84-percent of its $2.39 billion in revenue going to fund social benefit programs and services, Goodwill helped place 104,010 people in jobs outside the organization in 2004. A man is in custody after allegedly abandoning a two-year-old boy at a Mississippi Goodwill.

The boy was found at Goodwill in Southaven, outside of Memphis, with a note and a change of clothes. Police reviewed security footage and with the help of the public, were able to ID the boy.

The man was arrested later in Memphis and investigators say the boy will be reunited with family when Child Protective Services deems it proper. Evidently, the suspect thought you could donate anything to a Goodwill.
