Being Wise And Generous

The nation has officially caught Christmas fever! As you walk through the malls, and department stores on the weekends, you can't help but notice just how many people were out shopping for Christmas in spite of the Covid Virus, and millions of Americans still filing unemployment claims weekly. Although some of us are finished shopping, try to remember to use some wisdom when it comes to that hard-earned money. I don’t know, but it just seems like for many the true meaning of Christmas has gotten lost in the shuffle.

Christmas has never been about the giving of gifts, although we've all been blinded by the shiny lights and bows. I’m all for giving generously but at the end of the day, it’s never smart to spend money you don’t have. Enjoy the holiday, and be as generous as much as your heart leads you. Just make sure that the true meaning of Christmas is about love and goodwill, not THINGS. Don't let what you do in December, ruin your life for the months of January and beyond. As a wise man once said. “It’s like having a caviar mindset, with a tuna fish bank account”. Be wise, be safe, but most importantly, be smart!
