Wow! Black Friday was a huge success, but not the way you think.

As expected, in store traffic took a big hit because of the COVID-19 issue. Foot traffic was down by 52-percent. So, where did people spend the nine-billion dollars dropped on Friday? According to Adobe Analytics the bulk was spent online.

The sales figures means Black Friday 2020 is the second largest online shopping day in history behind last year’s Cyber Monday.

Among the most popular products were Legos, Barbies, scooters, HP laptops and Apple Watches. Adobe is anticipating that Cyber Monday will be the largest online sales day in history.

I tried to hit some local stores with small capacities, but I’ll admit I did some online shopping too!
