Earlier today, the Recording Academy announced the nominations for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards. Noticeably absent from the nominees were The Weeknd and Nicki Minaj. And now, both artists have responded to the snubs.

The weekend wrote, “The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency…”

Nicki Minaj also spoke out and added, “Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on billboard & bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade- went on to inspire a generation. They gave it to the white man Bon Iver.”

The awards will take place on January 31 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on CBS.
