It seems like this year, we’re all getting ready for Christmas way earlier than ever. Whether its because 2020 has been so bad that we can’t wait for it to be over, or because we need some joy after this turbulent year; people are already getting in the Christmas mood.

While a lot of holiday events this year have been cancelled due to Coronavirus concerns, Charlotte Motor Speedway is here to offer us a fun event to do with the family.

Starting Nov. 21 , Speedway Christmas presented by Count On Me NC will not only have the largest drive-thru holiday light show, but this year they will have something new; Christmas classics on the big screen every Thursday through Sunday night!

Here’s the movie schedule:

  • Nov. 21-22: “Elf”
  • Nov. 26-29: “Home Alone,”
  • Dec. 3-6: “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000 live action film)
  • Dec. 10-13: “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,”
  • Dec. 17-24: “Frozen 2,”
  • Dec. 26-27: “A Christmas Story”

There will be designated parking and a small amount of concessions available to comply with COVID restrictions.
