DaBaby released today his first four hours of his eighteen-hour day called, “A Day in the Life” and I am so happy to share that Kiss 95.1 was featured in this Instagram video.
In the video, we see DaBaby waking up at 6 am at his home in Charlotte, NC, and starting his day with a workout, and then saying good morning to his precious baby girl, Serenity. After a workout grind, DaBaby moves to his next task of the day visiting the Power 98 and Kiss 95.1 studios. After a dope shout out to NoLimit Larry and Morning Maddhouse while chillin’ in the hot tub, the radio station with Serenity. On their drive to the studio, they were jamming out, dancing, and enjoying some snacks. Then, DaBaby arrives on the radio station and as always, welcomed with much love.
After an interview with No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse, DaBaby shows Senirty his record on our radio station walls and you can hear her say, “That’s Daddy” and it’s one of the sweetest things. Then, Dababy moves to an interview with Kiss 95.1 and gave some elbows to keep that social distancing on point.
Then the best part which I warn ya’ll, you are about to get the “feels.” DaBaby signs off his video with a personal shoutout to our Power 98 Program Director, Mr. Incognico, for being the first person to ever play his song on the radio. The song played back in 2016 was “My Name Is Baby Jesus” which DaBaby mentions “made his mama cry” after hearing it on the radio.
Seeing this video made me more proud than ever to be apart of such an amazing community and radio station family. Also, Dababy definitely should win father of the year, because this father-daughter duo is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. Thanks, DaBaby, Power 98 loves you!
