Tis’ the Halloween Season!
This is my first year learning about Google’s Frightgeist. It’s a fun seasonal tool that “conjures up Halloween’s most popular costumes” by pulling from the top 500 costume searches in the United States. They use Google Trends to tell people what is trending…both locally and nationally!
Here are the top 10 most searched costumes this year:
- Witch
- Dinosaur
- Harley Quinn
- Rabbit
- Clown
- Angel
- Fortnite
- Devil
- Ninja
- Spiderman
Some honorable mentions that didn’t make the top 10, but close were zombie, pumpkin, and The Purge characters.
