This weekend was pretty much a washout. Except for some sun on Sunday afternoon, for the most part, my family stayed indoors. I was cleaning up dinner on Sunday night and for once didn't have my phone nearby. My wife randomly asked me if she and the kids needed to take cover from a tornado!? I fancy myself a weather nerd and checked my phone. Sure enough, there was a tornado warning for a rotation literally right over our neighborhood!

Luckily my wife's "friends" text chain was talking about it. It turns out there was some rotation but no tornadoes. There's also no sirens which is a whole other issue! When I lived in Memphis years ago the siren went off a few times and freaked me out. I even saw one roll by my apartment complex! Check out the pictures below.
