Some people love Halloween for the costumes and the candy and the parties, but I have to say one of my favorite parts of October is staying in with temperatures dropping and watching a good, classic horror movie.
A new poll finds that 72% of parents with kids under 16 say they plan to watch Halloween movies with the family this year, and 63% plan to introduce their children to Halloween classics.
Among the most iconic Halloween movies of all time are:
- The Nightmare of Elm Street
- The Exorcist
- Friday the 13th
- Rocky Horror Picture Show
- Child’s Play
- The Shining
I have to admit…I definitely have not seen all of those, and some I have seen but remember nothing about…so I think Halloween 2020 is a good year to get reunited with the classics! What’s your favorite Halloween movie? Tweet us! @themrlshow
