This is one of those stories that shocked me, and I had to share it with you!

A retired Australian stock trader is confessing to a double life.

Back in 1977 and ‘78, someone robbed Sydney area banks. In 2018, there was a break in the case when a fingerprint match pointed to Ross McCarty. When cops knocked on his door, the 71-year-old told the truth: he got boozed up at lunch for courage and then rob banks.

McCarty’s props for the jobs included a water pistol and disguises including fake mustaches and sunglasses. He would demand money on a withdrawal slip. In total, he was involved in eight stick ups.

A judge sentenced him to three and a half years in prison.
