In the end, a dog is a dog. And they want food.

In Louisville, Kentucky, a police K-9 was lured away from his deputy’s property with the sweet smell of sausages. Then the suspect admitted it. Brandon Harmon was apparently trespassing on a property when police responded.

Harmon said someone else stole a weed trimmer from the property and he and the responding officer took a drive to where the stolen stuff was supposed to be.

That’s when Harmon asked how the stolen K-9 was since being recovered. The officer asked more questions and Harmon ended up saying he “coaxed him out with Vienna sausages.”

It’s handy when criminals make it easy for law enforcement.
