Man Tosses Wife Into River After Argument Over Dinner

There’s a time and a place for getting angry and this isn’t it. A Utah man faces several charges after police say he threw his wife into the Provo River….

There’s a time and a place for getting angry and this isn’t it.

A Utah man faces several charges after police say he threw his wife into the Provo River. Douglas Green, 61, and his wife were at the Provo River Resort when the two got into a fight over dinner arrangements.

The suspect then dragged the victim to the riverbank and forced her into the water after threatening to drown her. Green also reportedly threatened bystanders tried to help.

He has been charged with counts of aggravated kidnapping and assault. And his wife is fine, except bruises on her arms.
