Mom Horrified To Find Nanny Has Been Breastfeeding Her Baby

I can't even imagine this scenario!

We all know that finding someone trustworthy to care for your children can be a challenge, that’s why one mother was thrilled to find her neighbor’s 20-year-old daughter to work as their nanny. She explains that she and her husband are both active duty military and have a five-year-old girl and a 10-month-old boy, so they needed help with the kids. Finding themselves in a crunch after letting their last carer go, a neighbor’s 20-year-old daughter seemed like a Godsend. And it was...for a minute.

She says she was looking for “someone who would love my kids as if they were her own,” and that appeared to be the case with the young lady, who was absolutely helpful and wonderful with the kids – who adore her. But then? Mom caught the gal trying to breastfeed her son. In a post to Reddit’s “Am I the a-hole” section, mom explains that the nanny had been “a blessing” to their family and that mom had even confided in her that breastfeeding had been a struggle.

So one day, a rough day at work had her checking her nanny cam – to get a smile. What she got? Seeing the young woman sitting on her bed trying to nurse the baby. Here’s where it gets weirdER.

First, mom waited until she got home that evening to talk things out...they did, the girl apologized, okay. But then, mom got an itch (as one would) and decided to roll through more of the nanny cam footage. Turns out, the nanny had been unplugging the camera when putting the baby down to nap, had closed the little daughter in the pantry, and had even left her son in the backyard unattended. Mom later learned the nanny had also taken some old baby clothes and a blanket from her home as well. I would have lost my cookies!
