Cooper's extension of NC's Phase 2...the delay extends to beyond September. NCHSSA officials are working on a schedule and hope to have an announcement by August 17th.

Currently high school sports are in Phase One of summer conditioning and the workouts will continue.
As a former high school athlete, I am absolutely devastated at the thought that students, especially seniors, might miss out on their sport season. When I think of any of the 'positive qualities' I have, especially in the workplace, I usually can relate them all back to my time on a high school varsity team. I hope everything gets better and they're able to work it out for the sake of these children.
