Nothing is worse than losing a dog. If you're like me, dogs become family members, and so having to say goodbye to one is absolutely gut wrenching.
I would love to get a dog in the next few years, and when I start looking at dog breeds I'm interested, I definitely want to look at how long they are expected to live.
